Home Learning and Spellings 06.01.12
06 Jan 2012 8 Comments
As so many of you had such busy Christmases, your home learning for this week is to get at least one of the activities done on the Roman Invasion sheet. If you have lost your sheet, then you can get another copy here and if you have already done one of the tasks, then please choose another one to complete.
Also, here are your spellings for your test on Friday next week. Please remember to do your L.S.C.W.C. practice and to bring these books back in with you.

Hello Mrs Beckwith
Bow has been playing the Dig it up Game, and really enjoyed it, she managed to find out about different things and got to level 4.

I thought that Hollie’s story was good because it was really exciting. The story does not use adjectives to describe the kittens or Gemma. The story includes different sentences openers such as one,we,in and hardly. The story does include some sub clauses, but could use more. Good punctuatioln has been used in Hollie’s story. Although I found the story exciting it could be improved by using some more adjectives.

Wow! I can’t believe how quickly you have done this- I haven’t even left school yet! Well done for making such a thoughtful comment on Hollie’s story, including areas that she was successful in and areas that she could improve. If you get some more time over the weekend, try having a look at the other stories. Well done Zantia. Enjoy your sleepover!
